Job Description: Social Media Manager and Online Course Creator

 

The Rebel’s Gym is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Social Media Manager to join our team. As a Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our social media strategy, managing our online presence, and engaging with our target audience across various social media platforms. You will play a crucial role in enhancing brand awareness, driving customer engagement, and supporting our overall marketing efforts. As an Online Course Creator, you will be responsible for learning the functionalities of the LMS software and building out from the content provided.


 

 Responsibilities:

  1. Social Media Strategy Development: Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with our marketing goals and brand identity. Identify target audiences, create engaging content, and determine the most effective channels to reach our target audience.

  2. Content Creation and Management: Create high-quality and engaging content for social media platforms, including text, images, videos, and infographics. Manage the content calendar, ensuring regular and consistent posting. Collaborate with other teams to gather relevant content and maintain a consistent brand voice across all platforms.

  3. Community Management: Monitor and engage with our online community across various social media channels. Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries promptly, providing excellent customer service and maintaining a positive brand image. Proactively identify and address customer concerns or complaints.

  4. Social Media Advertising: Plan, execute, and optimize paid social media campaigns to increase reach, engagement, and conversions. Utilize targeting options and analytics to optimize ad performance and maximize return on investment (ROI).

  5. Analytics and Reporting: Track, analyze, and report on key social media metrics and performance indicators. Provide regular reports and insights to stakeholders, highlighting trends, successes, and areas for improvement. Use data to drive decision-making and make strategic recommendations.

  6. Trend Monitoring and Industry Awareness: Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices. Research and identify opportunities to leverage emerging platforms or features to enhance our social media presence and reach.

  7. Course Design and Development: Design and develop online courses from concept to completion, ensuring alignment with learning objectives, target audience needs, and instructional design principles. Create engaging course materials, including presentations, videos, quizzes, assignments, and interactive activities.

  8. Multimedia Production: Utilize multimedia tools and software to produce high-quality instructional videos, animations, and interactive elements. Edit and enhance existing content to optimize clarity and comprehension. Ensure all multimedia elements are accessible and user-friendly.

  9. Instructional Design: Apply instructional design models and principles to create effective learning experiences. Structure courses in a logical and organized manner, incorporating learning objectives, assessments, and feedback mechanisms. Employ instructional strategies that promote learner engagement and knowledge retention.

  10. Learning Management System (LMS) Administration: Upload course materials and multimedia content to the LMS. Set up course modules, assessments, and learning paths. Monitor student progress, track completion rates, and generate reports. Troubleshoot technical issues related to the LMS and provide support to students as needed.

  11. Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with subject matter experts, instructional designers, graphic designers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective course development. Communicate regularly with team members to provide updates, address questions, and seek feedback. Participate in team meetings and contribute to ongoing improvement initiatives.

  12. Market Research and Trends: Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in online education. Conduct market research to identify target audiences, assess competitors, and determine market needs and demands. Use insights to continuously enhance course content and delivery.



 

Qualifications:

  1. Education and Experience:

    • Proven work experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role

    • Demonstrated success in managing social media platforms and campaigns

    • Fitness and Nutrition certifications

  2. Social Media Proficiency:

    • In-depth knowledge of major social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.) and their respective best practices

    • Familiarity with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social)

    • Experience with social media advertising platforms (e.g., Facebook Ads Manager, Twitter Ads, LinkedIn Ads)

  3. Content Creation Skills:

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    • Proficiency in creating engaging and visually appealing content (text, images, videos)

    • Basic design skills and experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) are a plus

 

  1. Analytical Abilities:

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

    • Ability to interpret social media metrics and use data to optimize performance

    • Familiarity with social media analytics tools (e.g., Facebook Insights, Google Analytics)

  2. Brand Management:

    • Understanding of brand identity and the ability to maintain a consistent brand voice across social media platforms

    • Experience in crisis management and handling online reputation issues

  3. Time Management and Adaptability:

    • Strong organizational and multitasking skills

    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities

  4. Team Player and Collaboration:

    • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, and customer support

    • Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for building relationships with online communities

  5. Instructional Design and E-Learning Expertise:

    • Strong knowledge of instructional design principles and adult learning theories

    • Familiarity with e-learning technologies and Learning Management Systems (LMS)

    • Experience using authoring tools and multimedia software (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Camtasia, Adobe Creative Suite)

  6. Project Management:

    • Strong organizational and time management skills

    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines

    • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy

  7. Creative Thinking:

    • Ability to think creatively and innovatively to design engaging and effective learning experiences

    • Problem-solving skills
